Sabine Lisicki has defeated Caroline Wozniacki 6-2, 6-4 to win the 2009 Family Circle Cup.

Ranked at No. 63 in the world, 19-year-old Lisicki has become the lowest ranked player to ever win the cup. But in many ways the real shocker had come when she defeated No. 2 seed Venus Williams.
