Historic Anderson church erupts in flames
Update March 10: The church's pastor has been charged in connection with suspected arson.
First reporting: Anderson's 165-year-old Mountain Creek Baptist Church went up in a huge ball of flames early Monday night.

More than 100 firefighters battled the blaze -- it's likely little if any of the church survived.
The Anderson Independent-Mail has the best reporting on the story, and the paper also has some really great imagery of the sad event.
