Senate President Pro Tempore Glenn McConnell, South Carolina's top-ranking lawmaker (and Charleston rep), sent a strident letter to Gov. Mark Sanford on Thursday, saying that the governor needs to quit chasing political publicity and get down to the business of finding jobs for a state devastated by the recession.
