Though the Charleston Battery won the second round of their playoff match against the Rochester Rhinos, ultimately the 1-0 win was not enough to keep their bid in play and the USL Soccer team's season came to an end.

The Battery would have need at least two goals to keep it alive, as they lost their first game 0-2.
