Junior League of Charleston to provide FREE ADMISSION to Children’s Museum

Last Free Friday Family Fest of the school year to attract more than 600 children and family members

The Junior League of Charleston, Inc. will host Free Friday Family Fest at the Children’s Museum of the Lowcountry (CML) on May 20th from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m.  Lowcountry families are encouraged to come out and enjoy free admission, dinner provided by Chick-fil-A of James Island, a jump castle provided by Happily Ever After, face painting, playtime in the Museum, unique games and crafts and visits from Cool Ray from the South Carolina Stingrays and the Chick-fil-A Cow.  The first 150 families will also receive a complimentary pass for a return visit to the Museum and a FREE book.  Registration begins at 4:45 p.m. outside the Museum’s main entrance. 

Denis Chirles, Executive Director of the Children’s Museum of the Lowcountry says, “Free Fridays are a great way for our community’s families to come together and celebrate the importance of playing and learning together.  We are proud to partner with the Junior League of Charleston to provide this vital community outreach opportunity to families who need it most.”

The Children’s Museum of the Lowcountry is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization.  Open Tuesday through Saturday from 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. and Sundays from 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.  Admission is $7 per person and free for children less than 12 months of age.  For more information visit our website, www.explorecml.org.
