In a deal valued at more than $11 billion, Air India is expected to take home the first Boeing 787 Dreamliner in early 2012.
Air India won't be receiving just one Dreamliner howerever. The deal, made back in December of 2005, called for 27 of the state of the art aircrafts making it the largest commercial airplane order in India's civil aviation history.
The Post and Courier has the post.
In other 787 news, Boeing brought a completed Dreamliner onto international soil for the first time yesterday in order to show it off at the Farnborough International Airshow. Boeing opened the aircraft up to the media, and we've found a nearly 10 minute video tour of both the exterior and interior of the massive craft.
