Fashion Group International Of Charleston Hosts The Best Of Fall/Winter 2012 International Collections Preview

Fashion Group International (FGI) returns to the spotlight with its Best Of Fall/Winter 2012 International Collections video presentation from Paris, Milan, London and New York edited by renowned fashion journalist and FGI Creative Director, MaryLou Luther on Thursday, April 19th from 6:00-9:00 p.m. at The Hippodrome.

The evening brings together a collection of the top trends in fashion, beauty and accessories which will then be discussed by industry experts in media, retail and accessories including: Karen Giberson - President of The Accessories Council, Edward Cortese – Fashion Manager Departures Magazine, Stacy Smallwood – Owner Hampden Clothing and Cator Sparks – Editor of LookBook.com and Columnist for Huffington Post.

Showing the trends across some of the key fashion industries from around the world puts Charleston at the front and center of the international fashion stage.  This is the second year FGI of Charleston is hosting this event and it will follow as the industry does in the Fall with the Best Of Spring/Summer 2013.

“One of the ways Fashion Group International Of Charleston continues to spotlight the fashion businesses in Charleston is by hosting these unique events and creating a dialog with industry experts from all over the world.   These experts discuss the key issues facing both the trade and consumers. Charleston and our FGI members are part of this dialog,” says Rosanna Krekel, Regional Director, FGI Charleston.

“I am honored to be part of this wonderful event with FGI, an organization that supports all of the fashion businesses all over the world, as well as connect with our customers and retailers in the City of Charleston,” says Edward Cortese, Fashion Manager of Departures Magazine and part of the talented industry panel.

The evening will begin with a cocktail party, music by Entropy Ensemble, food by Social and follow with the presentation.  To purchase tickets, please go to: brownpapertickets.com/event/236148 or call: 843-696-2688.
