Legal questions to be answered by volunteer attorneys

Have a legal question you need answered? The S.C. Bar Pro Bono Program can help! In observance of Celebrate Pro Bono Week 2013, the S.C. Bar Pro Bono Program is holding a special, statewide Ask-A-Lawyer event on Wednesday, Oct. 23.

From 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., attorneys will be available online to answer the public’s legal questions via web chat. Visit www.scbar.org/aal during that time to get started.

In addition, a television phone bank will air on the WBTW News 13 (Myrtle Beach) evening news between 5 and 7 p.m. Watch the broadcast for the number to call. Attorney volunteers include William A. The Ask-A-Lawyer program coordinates volunteer lawyers in an effort to assist the public with its legal questions and is made possible by the S.C. Bar Foundation.
