LENNAR BRINGS INSPIRATION TO SECOND SUNDAY ON KING STREET

In celebration of a new, more local Lennar, homebuilder is giving visitors and residents something to sing about

On Sunday, November 10, Lennar, one of the nation’s top homebuilders, brought inspiration to King Street in a big way.  During the monthly Second Sunday on King Street, Lennar’s gospel choir took to the streets to entertain the community singing traditional songs.  In celebration of the new, more local Lennar, the choir also performed an original song created for the new Lennar marketing campaign.

“Second Sunday has become a great new Charleston tradition and a wonderful way to spend a Sunday afternoon,” said Jason Byham, Director of Sales & Marketing of Lennar Coastal Carolinas Division.  “We received a great response from the recent television ads with the Lennar choir, and we wanted to bring it to life.  What better way to celebrate all the great new homes and features Lennar brings, than with an inspiring and entertaining choir performing on the streets of Charleston!”

In addition to a live performance by the choir, Lennar handed out free giveaways and raffled a plasma television as an official sponsor of the Second Sunday event.  Visitors could also participate in the giveaway through Lennar’s Facebook and Twitter pages.  Lennar representatives provided demos of the InSite program available for homebuyers.  InSite, a new online system, allows guests to select their elevation and floorplan, and even customize the furniture layout of their floorplan when they visit a community.  The New Lennar campaign celebrates new leadership, new communities, and new Lowcountry style floorplans featuring all new included features and new designer upgrade options.

“Second Sunday is a great way for our local community partners to interact and engage with visitors and residents alike,” said Susan Lucas, President King Street Marketing Association. “Lennar brought great entertainment to King Street, which is what Second Sunday is all about!”
