BurgerFi finally coming to The Grand Strand? -YES!

Updates at the bottom:

Way back in December 2011, the news came out that BurgerFi, an all natural Angus burger join with hand-cut French fries, craft beers and wine and natural frozen custards and concretes...and Mexican Coke(!) would be opening the following year, in 2012.

Well, 2012 came and went and the talk of BurgerFi coming to the area was long forgotten. But, thanks to a CraigsList posting, looking for management, it looks like BurgerFi might be coming soon to North Myrtle Beach.

Check out our original post here -but the link to The Sun News source is dead.

We'll keep you posted!

Update 4/4/14: With some Googling, we've discovered a Facebook page for BurgerFi North Myrtle Beach, but it seems to be set to private and a yelp location for the restaurant on the corner of Main Street North Myrtle Beach and Highway 17 where several locally owned, non-nation concepts tried their hand at business. However, driving by the location, it does not look as if their is anything going on in the building.

Update 4/11/14: Some more Googling on the matter has turned up a link to SouthCarolinaBids.com. The page in question (here) is for potential contractors to bid on the BurgerFi project that is slated at 801 Main Street, North Myrtle Beach -the former location of the short lived JC's Just Chicken and a few sea food restaurants. It is a prime spot, right on the corner of Main and Highway 17N.
