CCMF announces some ticket proceeds to benefit local special needs group

With the sounds of country music set to hit Myrtle Beach sands June 5, Carolina Country Music Fest officials recently announced they will be partnering with Savannah’s Playground – a group dedicated to establishing safe playgrounds and programs for children with special needs.

The beachfront country concert will feature artists ranging from up-and-comers to living legends, and now event organizers will be donating a portion of ticket proceeds to the local organization inspired by a Myrtle Beach native’s determined spirit.

Savannah’s Playground was established by 19-year-old Savannah Thompson and her family, who are actively working to create the development of a barrier-free, bias-free world for all children with special needs.
