Conway Artist hopes to publish comic with your help

Emil Koepcke, a graphic artist from Conway hopes to get some crowd funding help through KickStarter to publish his comic book Sinthetic; a four issue mini-series that Koepcke has been working on for quite a while.

via KickStarter:

"Sinthetic is a fast paced, action hero, industrial sci-fi adventure. Sinthetic will be a 4 issue mini series that's fun for all ages [...] The story takes place 500 years in the future, the Earth is a barren wasteland where cyborgs rule the planet. A small band of humans must challenge the course that mankind has taken in order to save it. Although the back drop to the story is very dire, we have little elements woven in, to keep the over all mood light.  The funds raised will go towards getting issue one printed along with getting supplies so i can create the backer rewards. while our main focus will be digital downloads, we need printed copies to distribute regionally (we'll also mail out the printed copies upon request). "

Koepcke's funding goal for Sinthetic is $1,800, and with 24 more days to go his project is sitting at $546 with seven backers. Koepcke's work might look familiar to most locals, as he has done graphic design work for many restaurants, bars, The Weekly Surge, and X-Con - our local comic book convention.

Check out the KickStarter video above and go fun the project here...you really should fund it, Koepcke's got a Dalek...
