Monday night, the Horry County Board of Education worked towards resolving the issue of overcrowding in classrooms especially in Carolina Forest.

One option that has been considered for the last several months is realigning school districts, however after Monday night's meeting, that option has been shelved.

Many parents of Carolina Forest students say this is good news.
