Broadway at the Beach, along with Legends In Concert, will host the first-ever Myrtle Beach Elvis Fest on Friday, April 5, 2013, and Saturday, April 6, 2013. This two-day festival is open to the public and will feature several FREE family-friendly, Elvis-themed activities and events.

On Friday, the full-length movie, Viva Las Vegas, will be featured in Broadway Commons at 8:00 p.m. Guests are encouraged to bring a beach towel or chair for sitting. Legends In Concert's Elvis tribute artist will open the movie with a performance at 7:45 p.m.

Saturday, from noon until 4 p.m., a lineup of fun events and competitions will take place in the Center Court area of Broadway at the Beach. Legends In Concert's Johnny Cash tribute artist will emcee the day's activities which include: a Jailhouse Rock Jump Rope Contest sponsored by Ripley's Aquarium; Let Me Be Your Teddy Bear Musical Chairs sponsored by Build-A-Bear Workshop; Love Me Tender Doggie Costume Contest sponsored by Grand Strand Humane Society; Blue Hawaii Hula Hoop Contest sponsored by WonderWorks; Color My Way Coloring Contest sponsored by Pavilion Nostalgia Park; and the Jr. Elvis Competition sponsored by Hard Rock Café. In addition, Cupcakes By Cravinley's will be serving Elvis cake and cupcakes while supplies last.

The first-ever Myrtle Beach Elvis Fest concludes with the 2013 Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Competition at Legends In Concert on Saturday, April 6, 2013, at 7 p.m. For tickets and information, call Legends In Concert at 800-960-7469.
