Atlantic Stage closes the 2013-2014 season with the comedy, The Nerd by Larry Shue. The Nerd was first produced in 1981 by Milwaukee Repertory Theater and on Broadway in 1987. Atlantic Stage brings the production to the Grand Strand with Thom Penn, Atlantic Stage Artistic Director, as the director for the show, joining a unique group of characters to an end game that brings a chuckle and a smile.
