The Fourth Annual Coastal Uncorked Food, Wine and Spirits Festival returns for a summer culinary adventure June 2 through June 8, 2014.
Two new events to this year’s Coastal Uncorked are the Brews’N The Boulevard Craft Beer Event. It is set for Friday, June 6, from 5 to 9 p.m. Patrons will be able to enjoy samples of over 75 of the country’s finest brews. There will also be live music and food from area vendors. The Ultimate Pastry Party set for Thursday, June 5, at the Dunes Club, will feature top local pastry chefs preparing all things sweet.
Other festival events throughout the week include:
- June 2 through June 8 – Myrtle Beach Restaurant Week
- June 3 – Themed dinner at Abuelo’s
- June 4 – Themed dinner at Damon’s Grill
- June 5 – Ultimate Pastry Party – Dunes Club
- June 7 – Grand Strand Tasting Tent Event and Trolley Tour
- June 8 – Themed dinner at Croissants Bistro
The popular Tasting Trolley Tour will begin at Myrtle Beach Convention Center and take guests to eight stops along the Grand Strand. This year’s trolley stops are:
- Island Vista Resort
- Caribbean Resort
- Breakers Resort
- Plyler Park Grand Tasting Event and Entertainment
- New South Brewery
- Second Avenue Pier
- Damon’s Grill
- Springmaid Beach Resort
“It’s great having Coastal Uncorked return to the Myrtle Beach area for another great summertime food experience,” said Stephen Greene, president and CEO of the Myrtle Beach Area Hospitality Association. “Adding the Brews’N The Boulevard and the Ultimate Pastry Party will complement our signature events such as the Tasting Trolley perfectly.”
In 2012, the MBAHA acquired Coastal Uncorked to make it the signature event for the hospitality association and to promote the local hospitality industry’s culinary side.
