Auditions for the Palmetto Player's inaugural (summer) production of THE MOST HAPPY FELLA are being held on Sunday, May 25th... A WEEK FROM TODAY!

We need you to spread the word as much as possible by sharing this post, telling your friends, getting your friends to share this post, and by contacting us to let us know you're interested in auditioning or if you have questions about the production. If you are interested in auditioning please contact us directly via our Facebook page so we can provide you with a time and a location for your audition.

We are asking for you to bring your headshot/resume, a sixteen bar number, and a monologue (ranging from one to two minutes) to the audition.

THE FOLLOWING ARE THE CHARACTERS WE WILL BE CASTING:

ROSABELLA - Lead. Female, soprano, 20-30 years old. 
A woman who is lost in love and work, she is in desperate need to experience and explore her dreams of romance. Jaded by the city life and by insensitive men.

TONY - Lead. Male, baritone, 40-55 years old. 
An Italian grape farmer. He is warm and genuine but also insecure at times. Battles with a short temper. Spirited, passionate, respect, and boisterous.

CLEO - Supporting. Female, mezzo-soprano, 18-25 years old.
A non-plussed, comic, brassy, self-confident waitress and best friend of Rosabella. A true friend with a strong personality and a calculating mind.

MARIE - Supporting. Female, mezzo-soprano, 40-50 years old. 
Tony's possessive, domineering younger sister who is against change. She will fight to protect her brother at all costs.

HERMAN - Supporting. Male, tenor, 18-25 years old. 
The likable happy-go-lucky ranch hand. He is easy-going, the “good guy,” and not easily rattled.

JOE - Supporting. Male, baritone, 20-30 years old. 
The foreman of the vineyard. He is unable to settle down and is more interested in random connections than true romance. Handsome, masculine, hardworking.

POSTMAN - Cameo. Male, baritone, 30-60 years old.

JAKE - Cameo. Male, baritone, 18-40 years old.

CLEM - Cameo. Male, baritone, 18-40 years old.

AL - Cameo. Male, bass, 18-40 years old.

GUISEPPE - Cameo. Male, tenor, 20-50 years old.

CICCIO - Cameo. Male, tenor, 20-50 years old.

PASQUALE - Cameo. Male, baritone, 20-50 years old.

DOC - Cameo. Male, baritone, 20-50 years old.

CASHIER - Cameo. Male, 25-50 years old.

PRIEST - Cameo. Male, 30-50 years old.

MAX - Cameo. Male, 25-50 years old.

COUNTRY GIRL - Cameo. Female, 15-25 years old.

CITY BOY - Cameo. Male, 15-25 years old.

THE BUS DRIVER - Cameo. Male, 25-50 years old.

THE BRAKEMAN - Cameo. Male, 25-50 years old.
