Jennifer Bettke will go trick-or-treating on Halloween, probably dressed as a character from “The Hunger Games,” but will also go door-to-door for another reason a few days before that.

The 17-year-old Carolina Forest High School senior will be one of 40 students representing the school’s thespian troop No. 5964, a local chapter of the International Thespian Society, collecting food for the Trick or Treat so Kids Can Eat Program Tuesday, Oct. 29 from 4-6 p.m.
