Local Food Truck Provides Support for Police Officer

Every Friday in October Moe's Original Bar B Que's food truck will be at the Georgetown County Sheriff's Office at 430 N Fraser Street from 11am-2pm. Purchase Southern BBQ and down home fixins and 50% of all proceeds will benefit Lt. Denise King. The Georgetown County Sheriff’s Office partnered with Moe's to express support of its sister in blue who has been fighting lung cancer.

"In addition to ordering directly from our food truck, customers can call 843 235-8008 earlier in the week to pre-order lunch or weekend tailgate packages." said Moe's Original Bar B Que owner Meg Lonon.

Recognized with many awards, Moe’s Original Bar B Que has been named one of the Top 10 Rib Joints in the U.S. by Relish and Top 10 BBQ Chains in America by Daily Meal and USA Today. Located on the thoroughfare of Highway 17, Meg Lonon brought the first Moe’s Original Bar B Que to the lowcounty area. With an open kitchen and a full bar, it serves award-winning Alabama-style BBQ and Southern sides in style whether guests are seated inside, on the patio or on the covered, screened porches. This barrier island restaurant offers a carefree feel that is great for locals, families and visitors to come eat a great meal while watching a game or enjoying music. For interviews, photos, press kit, menus or a complimentary media tasting, contact Lorrie Dixson of Eskimo Advertising at lorrie@eskimoadvertising.com.
