Myrtle Beach airport passes its annual FAA inspection

The Myrtle Beach International Airport passed its annual Federal Aviation Administration Part 139 Certification Operations Inspection with no discrepancies, according to a news release issued by the airport.

Annually, MYR and other commercial service airports nationwide are required to undergo an extensive inspection of safety records, emergency operation manuals, meetings with airport management and on-site checks by a team of federal inspectors to assure the airport is in compliance with its certification manual and operating certificate.
