Myrtle Beach man sentenced to 45 years in prison on drug charges

A Myrtle Beach man pleaded guilty and was sentenced to 45 years in prison after a jury was selected for his trial on drug charges, according to authorities.

Henry Lee Kinlaw, 38, of Myrtle Beach pleaded guilty to second-offense trafficking cocaine base 28-100 grams, second-offense trafficking cocaine 28-100 grams and second-offense distribution of cocaine base, according to the 15th Circuit Solicitor’s Office.

Circuit Court Judge John C. Hayes III sentenced Kinlaw to 15 years on each charge for a total of 45 years in prison because the sentences will run consecutively, according to Stephen Grooms, assistant solicitor.
