Myrtle Beach police investigate report of woman being sexually assaulted at gunpoint

A woman told Myrtle Beach police that Thursday night she was sexually assaulted at gunpoint, according to a police report.

The victim, whose age was not listed in the report, called officers at 8:30 p.m. Thursday and reported she had been raped by a man at gunpoint, police said.

The victim said she met with the man and drove to some apartments where the man pointed a gun at her, according to the report. The victim said the man forced himself on her.
