Myrtle Beach woman arrested after crash outside home of couple charged in Heather Elvis case

A 25-year-old Myrtle Beach woman was arrested after Horry County authorities learned she crashed her vehicle and walked around the property of Sidney and Tammy Moorer, the couple charged in Heather Elvis case.

Brittany Michelle Browne, 25, was booked into J. Reuben Long Detention Center at 10:26 a.m. Monday on charges of driving under the influence and violation of ABC law, according to jail records. She was released at 5:17 p.m. Monday on $2,767 bail.

Troopers with the S.C. Highway Patrol charged Browne with those charges, according to jail records. Troopers could not be immediately reached Tuesday for comment.

Horry County police cited Browne with trespassing and county officers turned over the investigation to troopers, according to the report.
