An Ohio gun maker that announced it would build a manufacturing center in Cool Springs last year has reduced the number of workers it plans to hire and is now looking at another property for its Horry County operation, local leaders said. Despite those changes, officials insist Ithaca Gun Company hasn’t given up on Horry.
