With Season 6 quickly coming up in September, there are some great events happening this month to get ready. 

Audition Workshop

“The Gentle Audition” workshop will be held at Atlantic Stage on Saturday, August, 17 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and on Monday, August, 19 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.    This introduction to auditioning will help the actor prepare by reviewing monologue selection and audition preparation.   It is for anyone who wants to enhance their auditioning skills whether they have never acted, haven’t acted for some time, or just want to brush up on audition etiquette.   The workshops are free and open to anyone.   You may choose to attend either one or both, but pre-registration is required.  To register for the workshop, email: mindi_penn@atlanticstage.com or call the box office 877-287-8587.   Be sure to specify what day or days you will be attending.  

Auditions for ALL IN THE TIMING

Auditions for the opening production, All in the Timing by David Ives will be held on Saturday, August 24 from 10:00 -1:30 at the Atlantic Stage.  Here is the opportunity to take the skills learned from the workshop and put them into use!    Contact Thom_Penn@atlanticstage.com if you have any questions about the auditions.

Volunteer Open House and Orientation

Following the auditions on Saturday, August 24 will be an open house and orientation for all volunteers.  Whether you have volunteered with Atlantic Stage before or are new to the theatre, we want to take this opportunity to talk about the upcoming season, volunteer expectations, and to meet and greet with all the volunteers.   The open house will be from 2:00 – 4:00 pm  in the Atlantic Stage Lobby.   If you would like to volunteer, but are not able to make it you can email volunteer@atlanticstage.com  and we will advise you of any future trainings or meetings.
