Truck taken from hotel parking garage, police investigate

Police said after reviewing surveillance footage that two men, one of which was shirtless, appear to be responsible for taking a truck early Monday morning from a hotel parking garage.

Myrtle Beach police officers were flagged down about 9:30 a.m. Monday near a hotel parking garage at 2506 N Ocean Blvd. where a 47-year-old man reported the incident, according to a police report.

The victim told authorities he parked his black 2008 Toyota Tundra about 4:30 p.m. Sunday in the parking garage and when he went back the next morning, there was a different car in the spot where he parked, police said.
