Waccamaw Community Hospital has been named among the country’s 100 best hospitals for orthopedic surgery and among the top 10 percent for overall orthopedic services.

The hospital got a five-star rating from Healthgrades for excellence in total knee replacement, hip fracture treatment and spinal fusion surgery.

Conway Medical Center and Grand Strand Medical Center each topped out at three stars for orthopedic services, according to information at Healthgrades.com.
