Charleston County Parks' dance event series kicks off with its Shaggin' on the Cooper event at 7 p.m. on April 27 at the Mount Pleasant Pier. 

Shaggin' on the Cooper will take place throughout the spring and summer on: April 27, May 18, June 15, July 20, August 17 and September 7. A full list of musical guests can be seen on the CCP website. Moonlight Mixers will also be returning to the Folly Beach Pier on May 31 with DJ Jim Bowers, and can be found in action on: May 31, June 21, July 5, July 26, August 30 and September 20.  

As of this year, CCP will be offering an "All-Access Dance Pass," a cost-efficient utility desgined for those who plan to attend several of the dance series events. The season-long pass, which includes admission to every Shaggin' on the Cooper and Moonlight Mixer event, is $84 ($60 for Charleston County residents). Full season admittance to just one of the dance series is $48 ($36 for Charleston County residents). Passes can be purchased by calling (843) 795-4386.
