Nexsen Pruet up Four Spots on Largest Law Firms List

Nexsen Pruet has climbed four spots on The National Law Journal list of the largest law firms in the nation -- coming in at 211.

Each year, the legal publication releases the listing, based on lawyer tallies as of January 1st.

"Our growth has been client driven," said Leighton Lord, the firm's Board Chairman. "I'm proud of our firm for attracting top-notch lawyers who provide not only excellent service but great value for our clients."

Additions this past fall that pushed the firm up the list last year include:

  • Melissa Fried, Employment and Labor Law
  • John Wall, Financial Services
  • Chris Hampton, Business Litigation & IP
  • Katie Bradshaw, Employment and Labor Law

Nexsen Pruet firm remains one of two South Carolina-based firms to crack the top 220. The firm has made The National Law Journal's list of largest U.S. law firms since 2004, except for 2007.
