Participants will notice some changes for the upcoming race weekend. One is an expanded course time limit of seven hours. Runners will also be allowed to use headphones, although it is done at their own risk.

Marathon organizers have once again partnered with the Rare Species Fund and The Institute for Greatly Endangered and Rare Species (T.I.G.E.R.S.) located in Myrtle Beach.  T.I.G.E.R.S. houses an amazing assortment of rare and endangered animals, and many of them will be present throughout race weekend.

A complete listing of times and events can be found on the marathon website.
