Text loving teens spark Hilton Head mom's idea for test-prep by text business

The story goes that one day Lynne Anderson was "driving down the road, thinking 'how can they get my kids' scores up?' And, knowing how much my children like to text, it occurred to me: why can’t they get their test prep information that way?"

Roll the clock forward many months and you'll have eTextPrep that charges about $8 a month for subscriptions to specific test prep packages and regularly texts those tips to students.

And so goes the pitch: "A student may not know where their homework is, but you can guarantee they have their cell phone on them!"

You can learn a lot more about the program and Anderson's brainstorm on the Q&A page on here company's website, and The Island Packet also has a report with a nice narrative
