If there was any doubt about how compelling St. Helena Island native Candice Glover's performance of John Legend's "Ordinary People", it was settled last night as she was awarded one of the finalist slots in American Idol.

That places Glover in the top 10, and Glover applauded that with a performance of Rose Royce's "I'm Going Down", check out the video up top.

Glover performs again on Wednesday, March 14, from 8 to 10 p.m. and with the results coming the Thursday at 8 p.m. The final show is slated for May 16.
