Antiques Roadshow coming to Beaufort? Not quite, but county residents will have the chance to take part in the Historic Beaufort Foundation's first ever "Appraisal Day" at the Verdier house.

Amanda Everard, president of the savannah-based company Everard & Co., will be on hand to appraise up to three items each free of charge. The event starts Wednesday, February 23, at 10 a.m. and runs until 4 p.m. Tickets, which can be ordered by dialing (843) 379-3331, are $35 each for HBF members and $50 each for non-members.
