The Habersham Marketplace is hosting the Third Annual Habersham Harvest Festival this Saturday, October 22, from noon to 6 p.m.
The festival is part expanded farmers market and part celebration of food, fun, art, music and entertainment.
The festival is free, and food and drink will be available for purchase.
Live music will be performed on the main stage band Lowcountry Boil, and food and drink from local and regional vendors and seasonal, and fresh produce will be for sale from farmers spanning the state of South Carolina. Additionaly there will be a crafts fair, hay rides, outdoor sports and games, a dog agility course, costume contest and games offered by Beaufort Dog and various children's activities.
"We are so excited about this year's Harvest Festival," said Habersham Marketplace Merchant's Council President Leslie Pickel. "This festival continues to provide a platform for the outstanding farmers of our region along with the multitude of creative chefs and artists to present their unique food and wares to a family oriented crowd offering a day of fun for all."
