Roundup: Where to watch a 4th of July fireworks show in Beaufort

Looking for a spot to watch a fireworks show in Beaufort County on July 4th? Well, we've got a few spots for you to consider. Check out the map just below.

Port Royal FireworksFestivities begin down at The Sands in Port Royal at 5 p.m. with live music, food, and drinks. Bring your lawn chairs, but coolers aren't allowed. Fireworks will go off after Parris Island's fireworks, which are also visible from The Sands.

Parris Island Fireworks: Parris Island will host its annual 4th of July celebration with gates opening at 5 p.m. Lawn chairs are allowed, but no coolers. License, registration, and proof of insurance is needed to get on base. Fireworks begin around 9:15 p.m. 

Watch from Beaufort River/Battery Creek: Some choose to exchange the hustle and bustle of The Sands or Parris Island for the serenity of being out on their boat.

Watch from The Bluff: The Bluff on Bay Street is a great location to view the Port Royal and Parris Island Fireworks. Many people congregate there with their children to picnic. Bring your lawn chairs and bug spray.

Harbour Town’s Fireworks: Harbour Town’s 4th of July festivities include children’s activities, live music, a special concert with Gregg Russell, food, and drinks with a fireworks display around 9 p.m. Free shuttle service from several parking lots throughout The Sea Pines Resort.

Watch from the Sound: Lots of people will be out on Calibogue Sound to watch the Hilton Head fireworks.
