U.S. Marine Corps Silent Drill Platoon to perform in Beaufort

The 8th & I Battle Colors Detachment, better known as the U.S. Marine Corps Silent Drill Platoon, will hold a special performance aboard MCAS Beaufort Friday, March 18, at 5:30 p.m, according to MCAS Beaufort's Facebook page.

The performance is free, open to the public and will be performed in front of the headquarters building.

Patrons visiting the Air Station must enter through the main gate located at the intersection of U.S. 21 and 116.

 

A Department of Defense decal is not required for admission, but a valid driver's license, proof of insurance and vehicle registration is required to drive on the installation.

Bleacher seating will be provided, but visitors are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs. Parking areas will be marked and traffic will be directed by military police. Patrons are advised to arrive at least 30 minutes early.
