Beaufort County Public Schools is hosting a Back to School expo on Saturday, July 31 from 9 a.m. to 1p.m. in the cafeteria at Battery Creek High School.

The expo will bring 40 local, state and federal agencies together to provide students and parents with information on good study habits, parent conferences, substance abuse prevention, school attendence requirements, student behavior and discipline and other important topics.

The expo, titled "Putting the Pieces Together, Supporting Home, School & Community", is to provide a direction connection between community service agencies and parents and students.

Magic Marc will also be at the event to provide entertainment. Lunch will be provided at no charge.

All Beaufort residents are invited to attend.
