The film "Route 65 Nashville" was due to be filmed this late summer and fall in Beaufort, but a note from the Beaufort Film Society says that the producers are moving production to Tennessee‎.

The society writes:

Straight from the Director Ric LaMonte, the filming of Route 65 Nashville, previously announced to be shot in Beaufort, will in fact be shot in Nashville, TN. Mr. LaMonte appreciates the efforts of all involved in welcoming the cast earlier in the year to Beaufort and hopes that a future project can be shot here. We wish them well in their efforts.

No word on if a second film from the producers, "My Brother, Your Outlaw. The Waylon Jennings Story", will still be filmed locally in 2014.
