Updated Aug. 1: The Port Royal Pasta Company opens Tuesday, and The Island Packet caught up with its owners.

Updated July 26: According to its Facebook page, the Port Royal Pasta Company will be open for business on Aug. 2.

Reported July 18: A few things to update you on regarding businesses on Ribaut Road.

First off is it appears that the Port Royal Pasta Company is going in to the building most recently occupied by Mario's. 

Word around the interwebs, or at least this Port Royal Facebook page, is that the owners of Keith's Place on Ribaut, which is now closed, are opening the Pasta Company. 

It would be great to see something work out at that location.

Also of note is that the Medical Park Deli, which had been open for less than a year across from Beaufort Memorial Hospital, also has closed.
