Port Royal's tourism efforts receive a $9K boost
The Island Packet is reporting that the Port Royal Town Council has given the Port Royal Old Village Association $9,000 to promote tourism in the historic district and help pay for a new Thanksgiving-weekend festival called "We Believe."
This all coincides with a couple of other changes the Old Village Association is making, including changing Octoberfest to Festival of the Sea and working to create a Welcome Center in the Lowcountry Estuarium.
According to the Packet this all comes with a new branding and logo for the organization. It will be interesting to see how this all goes for OVA. You can read the full Packet writeup here.
