Beaufort County to spray for mosquitos
Flickr user onkel_wart
Beaufort County Mosquito Control is planning possible aerial spray missions during daylight hours from August 29 to September 2.
The county uses low-flying aircraft to apply EPA-registered public health insecticides. The group does not treat the salt marsh habitats for adult mosquitoes.
If you have questions about the insecticides, the county maintains detailed information online.
West Nile has not been prominent in Beaufort this year and should you have questions you can learn much more on our topic page.
