Economic development wars: Bluffton considers incentives to draw businesses in

While Beaufort County's economic development efforts are unraveling, Bluffton officials are at work brainstorming for ideas on how they could attract businesses to the Lowcountry, according to a Monday, May 16, report from The Island Packet.

Although the plans are in the early stage of the developmental process, and council has confirmed that they will hold a workshop event so residents can share their ideas. One idea includes waiving the license and development fees for prospective new businesses.
