Joint letter challenges Savannah River deepening on unanswered environmental questions

A coallition of environmental groups has penned an editorial challenging the Savannah River deepening for as-yet unadressed environmental questions.

Raised are matters of saltwater intrusion, wetlands loss, and need. Signing are members of Savannah Riverkeeper, Center for a Sustainable Coast, Coastal Conservation League, Altamaha Riverkeeper, Ogeechee Riverkeeper, Sierra Club Georgia Chapter, South Carolina Wildlife Federation, and  the South Carolina Southern Environmental Law Center.
