Beaufort's 'The Castle' back up for sale

Have $3.25 million you're looking to part with? Perhaps we could interest you in the five bedrooms, four and a half baths that is The Castle on Craven Street in downtown Beaufort's Old Point.

Yes, the 7,932-square-foot, circa 1859 home is back on the market, and yes, it still comes with Gauche the jester who haunts it.

Seriously though, The Castle is being listed by Lowcountry Real Estate for a little more than $3 million.

The home is owned by Samuel E. Beall III, who is chairman and CEO of Ruby Tuesday

Beall in 2008 bought the home from former Beaufort Mayor Bill Rauch for $2.65 million.

Oh, and in case you're wondering, taxes on The Castle are going to run you about $42,000 annually.
