Beaufort authorities: Stay hydrated in this heat (w/video)

The National Weather Service is once again issuing a warning to drink plenty of fluids and watch for heat exhaustion as warm weather combines with high humidity to create heat indexes of 117. 

Read more stories on this subject in our weather topic page.The heat index in Charleston, Beaufort, and Savannah are expected to hit 114 by 2 p.m. The warning continues until 8 p.m.

When it's this hot it's critical that you stay hydrated. We know that's not exactly rocket science, but it's important nonetheless.
