So it seems while all of the focus was on the potential closures of Shell Point and Port Royal elementary schools, the Beaufort County Board of Education also has plans to close wings of other schools, including Lady's Island and Coosaw elementary schools.

The thing is the board didn't vote on those partial closures last Friday and is instructing staff to move forward with them without ever bringing them before the public.
