Update April 20: A few minor updates on this one.

Most interestingly the fact the driver, Laquana Howard, was ticketed for driving too fast for conditions, but as police note, that doesn't mean she was necessarily exceeding the speed limit.

Bluffton Today has a report that talks a little bit about that and how the scene unfolded in greater detail; read it here.

First reporting, April 19: A school bus driver and a Bluffton Middle School student were injured after the bus overturned on the way to school this morning.

This story is still developing, so head on over to WSAV and The Island Packet for some of the latest coverage.

WSAV also is on the scene and has good photo up on its Facebook page. Check that out here.

WSAV's Holly Bounds also is the first to report on her Twitter account that the bus driver has been charged with driving too fast for conditions.
