TCL tweaks continuing ed department, marketing

The Technical College of the Lowcountry has announced that it will split its Continuing Education Department into two separate departments/brands: Life Enrichment Center and Innovative Workforce Solutions.

“By focusing each department’s marketing message on the unique needs of its audience, we are better able to identify and communicate the positive benefits of continuing education and workforce training at TCL," TCL president Dr. Tom Leitzel said in a press release that you can read here.

According to the release, courses offered through the Life Enrichment Center reflect the community’s growing interest in personal enrichment courses such as writing, sewing, painting, travel, computer technology, photography and culinary arts.

Innovative Workforce Solutions courses and programs leverage the expertise and experience of the TCL staff to design and develop customized training solutions for area employers. Innovative Workforce Solutions also offers a wide range of existing courses that can benefit employers and their employees.
