Colbert Busch to visit Beaufort, Softshell Crab Festival on Saturday

Elizabeth Colbert Busch is running as the Democratic candidate for the 1st Congressional District, and it seems she's using the Port Royal Softshell Crab Festival as encouragement to reach out to northern Beaufort County.

On Saturday, April 20, she'll be at the festival, farmer's market, St. Helena Island, and Blackstone's Cafe.

Here are the full details from a release:

Charleston, SC. April 19th, 2013…  Businesswoman Elizabeth Colbert Busch will visit several locations Saturday in Beaufort County to meet with business leaders, residents and Port Royal Mayor Sam Murray to share her agenda for creating good jobs in South Carolina and getting the country’s fiscal house in order.

“I’m excited to meet and speak with residents and business leaders of Beaufort County, because everywhere I go, the people of South Carolina tell me about the need to create more good-paying jobs and get our country’s fiscal house back in order,” Colbert Busch said. “As a businesswoman for 25 years, I know the importance of putting our fiscal house in order and creating good jobs in South Carolina’s Lowcountry and Coastal Communities.”
