You are invited to join this free community event on Lady's Island.  Come join this circle of pregnant parents and folk who are just interested in exploring the benefits of a supported birth and learning the role of a doula prenatally, during labor and postpartum.  A discussion will also offer an understanding of the special support a doula provides to mothers who experience high anxiety and depression, and who have have trauma or abuse histories.

The circle will be facilitated by Ifetayo Jacqueline White, Certified Doula.  Ifetayo has attended many types of births in Vermont since 2006 before returning to Beaufort in October.  She serves the Beaufort community through her organization, CHOICES Birthing and Wellness Support.  Ifetayo is a Reiki Teacher and is certified in therapeutic massage, reflexology and acupressure.
